Terminal TERM06A is used for receiving and sending of text messages and commands through serial transmission channel. It is supplied in two versions. The first version is ASCII, the standard serial terminal, can be connected to the communication line through RS232 or RS485. The second version, net version, enables connection of 15 terminals to one communication line with interface RS485, communicating according to company protocol ChnSof.

The terminal is operated by single-chip processor, type AT89C51(52). The processor operation is controlled by WatchDog. The LCD alphanumerical display can be fitted with semi-graphical characters. The actual position of character is given by cursor position, which is addressable.

Membrane keyboard has 10 buttons, repeat function, acoustic indication of press and Setup function for parameters as transmission parameters, set of transmitted characters, cursor form, display brightening.

The terminal is supplied from external power supply of unsteady voltage. Power supply and communication conductors are connected to the clips on terminal board.

Terminal in version TERM06A/IO is supplemented with extension board of inputs and outputs and so creates a small universal regulator control system) with digital and analog inputs and outputs and real time clock.

The extension board is supplied in two versions, in full construction (2xAIn, 2xAOut, 4xDOut, 4xDIn), or in partial fitting (2xAIn, 4xDOut).

It is actually a programmable system, which can be adjusted to particular requests of every customer. The system is suitable either for industrial usage or everywhere, where control is enquired.

The terminal is inbuilt in front panel of process equipment or device.
