P modules

The P modules are used for the power adjustment of input and output signals. They may contain performance elements (transistors, thyristors, relays) and a galvanic separation. Control logic of the modules is in the 5V or 24V versions.

Modules in 5V logic connect to P bus of the KITxxx computer or to P bus of IOP, IOPCOM or IOP485I cards, and are galvanic-linked to the control unit.

Modules in 24V (12V) logic connect to IODIOxx, IODOOxx or IODXOxx cards that are equipped with galvanic insulation. The connection is performed using a flat cable with cutting connectors.

The KITV40 computer and P modules can be placed in mounting frames that can be directly fitted onto DIN/EN TS 32 and TS 35 anchoring bars. The following are available P modules:

5.5 PDIO40 Module of digital inputs and outputs for KOMPAKT
- 5V version
- 16x digital input, input current 10 mA, max. inp. voltage 30V, optron insulation. These inputs are connected to KITxxx P-bus, port A,B
- 8x digital output, output type relay 24V/5A, optionally optorelay 60V/2A or optron with transistor 35V/0,2A.
- 8x digital input wires, connected to TERM10B card inputs

These outputs are connected to KITxxx P-bus, port C
The module is an extension card to the TERM10 terminal and it makes a basis of a simple compact control system KOMPAKT1, with KITV40 together.
